german shepherd family dog max

Hello!  We adopted Max two years ago (from Major and Allie) and are ready for a second pup. Max still acts like a puppy, but pays for his keep by bringing in the paper each morning.  He is extremely smart, andhas learned basic obedience easily.  He wants to play all day, so we definitely need a companion for him.

Thanks, Echols Family

This is Vader. He is a year old. He brings much joy and happiness into our home and he is so smart and loving. Thank you Shepherd Country!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know about the puppy I bought from y'all around Christmas of 2013. She was born from Maverick and Molly's litter. Almost exactly 5 months later and she is around a whopping 35 lbs!!!

She is the best dog I've had. The amount of love and energy she has is amazing. She has made me decide that I will not own anything but Shepherds from now on. We have her enrolled in an obedience program, and after one lesson the instructor loves her and already wants to train her for competitions!

Thank y'all so much for the opportunity to have such an incredible companion. She is our baby. -Jeremy N.

“Oh my GOSH he has been the love of our family. He was a ball catcher,  jumper, and twister until you couldn't throw anymore. He is a TV watcher, he knows all the commercials and he will get his toy and run to the TV and play with the dogs on the TV growling and barking. His demeanor is his prize and joy, he is so sweet and friendly. It was love at first sight. We didn't find Max he found us.” -Rodney & Pam D.

Abby is 7 months and we absolutely love her! She was so easy to house break, she is great with our children, and she is a good watch dog. They were out burning the burn pile all morning and playing in the woods. My little boy actually got on the floor with her and they fell asleep!

Thank you for allowing us this opportunity to own such a wonderful dog! -Melissa C.

Bella

Bella Was born with an abundance of aggression and very strong willed. Some may see this as a fault however I personally prefer to train dogs with some aggression as it seems to translate into "Drive" when training. She is a natural "Sentry". All that is left to teach her now is when her aggression is ok. She is age appropriate in learning to control her natural guarding instinct. I am no expert on the conformation of the German shepherd breed however I can tell you that she has excellent feet and her natural "gait" is as close to perfect as any K-9 I have ever worked with. She should be able to run and maneuver tirelessly.

She has good comprehension of 20 different commands and is age appropriate or advanced in compliance. Amazingly she actually complies better off lead than on lead.

I intend to start her training as a tracker at five months. I expect that she will do well as soon as she learns what we want her to do.

All in all she is a pleasure and frustrating to work with at the same time. I think we are pretty much down hill now as I see her voluntary compliance more and more each day.

Thanks for Breeding Her. She will make an awesome companion
